Orien
Born: 2014
Orien is a retired racehorse and the beautiful baby boy of our team. A stunning Bay in colour (brown body with black mane and tail), Orien is a gentle soul and loves to be around people. He is starting his career as a dressage horse and has settled in to his new life very well. He is very calm and loves a nice pat or a carrot or 10!
Hazy
Born: 1998
Hazy is the wise man of our team. He has had a successful career as a sporting horse and loves nothing more than to be around people. Hazy is funny, clever and a little cheeky and loves nothing more than dressing up in one of his crazy costumes! Since retiring Hazy is enjoying his time in the paddock with his friends and working on our team.
Gertie
Born: 2012
Gertie is the leading lady of our team. She is also an ex racehorse and from day one Gertie has been a very sweet and kind mare who always reminds you of her great boundaries. She has been educated and taken out too many fun competitions where she showcased her honesty and reliability. Having suffered a recent injury, she has retired from her brilliant riding career and is now living a life of luxury as the queen of the paddock and a valued member of our team.

Karene Wright
Certified Equine Assisted Learning Facilitator
Karene has had a passion for horses since a young age. Her professional life took her in a different direction spending 18 years with her own retail and travel business’s and some 10 years spent in the Corporate world in the travel industry and sales. This has given Karene the opportunity to develop strong leadership and communication skills leading sales teams, while also spending time conducting training sessions across all areas of business. Her focus has always been on people, our relationships with each other, and how in this crazy world that we live finding time to connect with ourselves and each other. This has led her to combine her passion for horses and people together to train in Equine Assisted Learning with the desire to help people and work with these amazing creatures. Horses have taught her so much in her life and she looks forward to sharing this experience.
